On August 15, Southwest Oil & Gas Field Company completed the fracturing construction of Wei 204 shale gas horizontal well by adopting the independently developed composite bridge plug multi-stage fracturing technology, taking the first step in China to take the first step of independent fracturing and supporting technology for shale gas horizontal wells.
Composite bridge plug multi-stage fracturing technology is currently an important technical measure at home and abroad to reform reservoirs and improve the daily production of single wells in low-porosity and low-permeability gas reservoirs and shale gas wells. Before the Wei 204 well, the three horizontal shale gas wells drilled by Southwest Oil & Gas Field were supplied with this technology and tools by foreign companies at a high cost.
Introducing, digesting, absorbing and localizing key technologies is the only way to develop shale gas on a large scale, and in January 2010, PetroChina organized the “Major Field Tests of Multi-stage Fracturing Technology in Unconventional Gas Reservoirs”, and Southwest Petroleum undertook the project of “Multi-stage Fracturing Technology of Composite Plug and Bridge”. The Southwest Oil and Gas Field undertook the project of “Composite Bridge Plug Multi-stage Fracturing Technology”. After that, Southwest Oil & Gas Field and Chuanqing Drilling and Exploration jointly researched and developed a series of tools and technology of “composite bridge plug + multi-cluster shot hole joint work fracturing”. In August last year, in Changning-Weyuan Shale Gas ********* Industry Demonstration Zone, the domestic composite bridge plug multi-stage fracturing technology was firstly and successfully applied to shale gas well Ning 209 well.
